Transit MRMC sources from CVS to SVN

Add MRMC sources to the [ SVN repository] right after the release files are ready and tested for being consistent.

Make a trunk and one branch for David N. Jansen. Moritz Hahn doesn't need a branch.

Also, make a dump of the CVS + full history as a tarball and put it online for historical reasons. Don't publish the tarball yet, we'll see what we'll do with it.

I would not move transit anything before we are 100% sure that the version is consistent.
I.e. we announce the release. Then It would be nice to add a proper release tag to the main brunch in CVS.

For a good SVN structure I suggest to take a look at the SVN manual, referenced in the $DEVELOPERS file. There thay have an example of how and where to store the main trunk, the brunches, the release and tagged versions.

Any ways, before moving the sources, please let me know. So that I do not miss this point.

Sources are added to the svn, a tag version for mrmc_release_1_3 exists, the branch for David N. Jansen is called Nijmegen (again).

The backup of the cvs is still missing.

Alrighty, Ulrich and I made a dump of the CVS and I've put it in the Distrib directory and named it "mrmc-1.3.cvsdump.gz".

It's 372 MB.

The big question is, should we make it available online via downloads? I leave this open for discussion.

I think that the Distrib is not the best location for the cvs dump. Like this folder is protected from being accessed from the web. Perhaps we could simply place it into the downloads/MRMC folder.

Another question is what would you like to do with it? Would you like to let any one to download it? Then this can be somehow added to the downloads.php script. So what's is your intension?

Hmm, I prefer to have it downloadable. However, due to its size, it is not suitable to be emailed.

I'd say defer this thing, and we'll make the dump available just like the test suites after 1.3.1.
